VICENTE FERRER
VINCENTE FERRER (BARCELONA, 1920 – ANANTAPUR, INDIA, 2009) IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE MOST ACTIVE INDIVIDUALS IN TERMS OF AID, SOLIDARITY AND COOPERATION WITH DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE IN THE THIRD WORLD. HE MAINLY CONDUCTED HIS ACTIVITIES IN INDIA, WHERE HE ARRIVED AS A JESUIT MISSIONARY IN 1952, AND HIS LEGACY IS CONTINUED TODAY BY THE FOUNDATION THAT BEARS HIS NAME.
