PORT OF BADALONA: CREATION OF A COMPREHENSIVE BRANDING PROGRAMME: BRANDING, CORPORATE IDENTITY, VISUAL SYSTEM, SIGNAGE, OFFLINE AND ONLINE COMMUNICATION, WEBSITE, ETC.
CHALLENGE: To provide a little known infrastructure with a strong brand that can lead to consolidating the port of Badalona.
To create a complete brand universe and all the different brand variants:
– Brand architecture (variants)
– Integration of unique brands
– Design and communication (offline and online)
– Signage
– Uniformity
SOLUTION: Creation of a communication system for all areas of the port of Badalona.
RESULTS: Exponential increase in connecting the port with the inhabitants of Badalona.
BRAND AND VISUAL SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION: The port of Badalona is an infrastructure that will culminate in a canal leading from the port to the Olympic Pavilion of Badalona. The aim is that the sea enters the city via the port, thereby connecting Badalona with a new commercial and navigable watercourse. The new port of Badalona brand addresses this project and is based on the P for ‘port’ entering into the B for ‘Badalona’, which represents the canal that will link the city with its harbour and the sea.
The visual system incorporates a variety of textures that embody all the range of possibilities and options offered by the port and is complemented by a grid to achieve coordinated communication and easy identification.
